The Jeep Wrangler JL introduced more powerful engines and more clearance for larger tires. An aftermarket Dana 44 housing may solve the weak housing issue of the OE axle, but for many enthusiasts, the Dana 44 ring & pinion and locker remain an expensive failure point. The Fusion Elite HD60 front axle provides both a significantly stronger housing, and a significantly stronger Dana 60 ring & pinion and locker. The additional benefit is that the axle uses JL knuckles, unit bearings, and brakes, which keeps weight and cost down, and retains the factory 5x5 (5x127) wheel bolt pattern.
The Fusion Elite HD60 provides some seriously strong standard features, including a high clearance reinforced Dana 60 center section, massive 3.5" diameter tubes with abuse ready 1/2" wall DOM axle tubes, rock eating 1/4" thick brackets, and heavy duty forged inner Cs that are significantly stronger than stock.
Built with our proprietary high clearance Gen 2 HP60 Pro Casting, resulting in minimal loss of ground clearance as compared to the OE axles.
