Position Overview:
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician, Mechanic, and Fabricator who specializes in off-road vehicles, including Jeeps and other 4-wheel-drive systems. This position requires proficiency in suspension systems, steering, general vehicle maintenance, and the ability to fabricate parts as needed. If you have a passion for off-roading, a solid work ethic, and the right skills, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on a wide range of 4x4 vehicles (primarily Jeep and off-road builds).
- Troubleshoot and repair suspension, steering, drivetrain, electrical, and engine systems.
- Install and upgrade off-road components, including lift kits, bumpers, tires, winches, and other accessories.
- Fabricate custom parts and components when necessary.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail on every project.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Communicate effectively with the shop manager and team to meet project deadlines.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Requirements:
- Must have 3+ years of hands-on experience working with 4x4 vehicles, specifically in suspension, steering, and general maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
- Experience with custom fabrication and welding is highly preferred.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Own a complete set of personal tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and able to complete tasks within given hours.
- Must work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
