Description

On YJs there is a factory body mount right above the frame at the forward rear leaf spring mounting point. The rubber bushing gets old and cracks, attracting moisture, dirt… and rust. Frame deterioration is a very common problem in this critical suspension mounting point. This unit includes the body mount and forward rear leaf spring shackle mount.  For best results, you may want to buy new leaf spring mount bushings. Remove the old body mount and leaf spring shackle mount, cap the remaining frame with this Safe-T-Cap® Frame Repair kit, weld, and you’re back on the road without a full frame replacement.
